We all are part of this great and beautiful army. Fighting off the invasions of dire creatures, finding traitors to the crown and keeping the peace in the kingdom, we are all but one arm, united for a cause. This is why all our swords were forged the same. With our rigorous training and years of experience, our gear makes us the perfect symbol of peace and righteousness, even beyond our lands. Maybe my name won’t be remembered, but each one of us is a page in the history of our kingdom.
I got two of the refurbished Novice II. Very happy with them! These have a nice feel in the hand, and look great. They seem quite sturdy. I will definitely be a returning customer.
It's not as good as Henry's sword in terms of the looks and usability in battle (the balance is a little off), but it's still a very decent weapon to use and the low price means it definitely deserves 5 stars. The surface looks like it might be eventually prone to scratching, but that happens to real weapons too, so it doesn't really matter. I'm really glad I bought it so my brother has something decent to fight me with.
OMG, great work on this!!! Going to buy the longsword version as well. Great detail, good for light contact larps as well.
I purchased this sword worried about the quality with it being "refurbished." Those concerns were completely dispelled when it arrived. Apart from a small almost unnoticeable bubble in the blade near the cross-guard it looked and felt perfect. Beyond looking great, this sword is remarkably durable. I have used it for over a year now in sun, rain, and snow without any special maintenance and it is still good as new.
I recently purchased two of the refurbished novice II swords. The minor blemishes that were on each of them were purely cosmetic and very acceptable in my opinion.
If you are on a tight budget, but still looking for a quality product, I highly recommend you give the refurbished version a try.
