Honzu, shurikens de ninja

Honzu sat on the roof to evaluate the situation. The far cries alerted him that the guards had just found the lifeless body of their lord. Honzu still had to make it across the wall that protected the palace if he wanted to escape. The underground path he had used to come in was now compromised.

From his vantage point, the western tower gave him the surest way out. Only two guards stood in his way. He didn’t have to fight them, only outsmart them. With this in mind, he threw the hira shurikens with a sharp twist of the wrist right at their legs, and they fell to the ground screaming. He ran and jumped over the city walls, into the darkness of the night and disappeared.
