1415, The Sword of the Battle of Agincourt
Legend
The battle of Agincourt took place on October 25, 1415 during the one hundred year old war between France and England. When Henry V, king of England, was on his way to England after the invasion of Normandy by his troops, he was confronted with a broad French Army close to the town of Agincourt (Azincourt). In spite of their numerical disadvantage (6000 soldiers against 20 000), the English were victorious thanks to the muddy field, the narrow battlefield and their frightening long bows.
